Martedì, 4 Novembre, 2025 - da 16:15 a 18:00
Locandina

This session explores how language and intercultural education can be reimagined through academic collaborations with students and colleagues in Gaza. Drawing on practical experiences from ongoing projects such as LINEs4Palestine and LINEs2theFuture, alongside critical perspectives on language and intercultural education and practices of academic solidarity, the session discusses how intercultural work can become a form of resistance, refusal, and care. It will feature short clips from films co-created by students in Gaza and Porto, as well as other creative contributions that foreground Gazan students’ voices. The session will be conducted in a mix of English and Italian.
Dr Maria Grazia Imperiale is Assistant Professor at the University of Glasgow, and has been working with colleagues in Gaza since 2014. She has led several research and teaching projects.
